Our auditions for the 2008-2009 school year are winding down! We are only holding preliminary auditions until the end of this week (Fri, May 9)! Make sure that you or anyone interested that you know schedule an audition before it’s too late! Send an e-mail to auditions@artistsinresonance.com with times you are free on days between now and the end of the week between 10am-8pm.

Callbacks will be held all day on Sunday, May 11 starting at 11am. We are terribly sorry for the conflict with Mother’s Day and we hope this isn’t too much of an inconvenience for anyone.

As this school year winds down, we’re looking for new members for the upcoming school year (2008-2009). Interested in becoming part of UC Berkeley’s premier co-ed a cappella group? Know someone who is? We’re looking for ALL VOICE PARTS, so everyone is welcome to audition. Next year will be an exciting time and new members will have the chance to be on our upcoming CD as well as the many exciting campus performances and concerts we have planned. So don’t delay! Thanks to all those who came out to audition for us! It’s a lengthy process, and we weren’t able to take all of the talented singers who tried out, but I’d like to welcome those who’ve just joined our ranks: Christine Robles and Max Loh! We’re very excited to have them, as well as our new members who came in at the end of spring: Annie Chang, Christine Li, and Quang Nguyen. It’s looking to be an awesome year for Artists in Resonance!

A reality television event

Whether you enjoy Reality TV or not, you will enjoy this show. We’ll be performing our best material (including some new songs), tying it together with skits and other multimedia that showcase the best, worst, and who-knows-what-we’ll-think-of of Reality TV. Improv and sketch comedy troupe Rats in the Alley will be opening. Expect quite a show.

• Saturday, May 5: 8pm in 155 Dwinelle

Pre-sale tickets are $5 for students and $8 general. At the door, tickets will be $7 for students, and $10 general.
